An interesting graveyard perspective of a group of ancient mellow Lancaster stone and slate roofed houses in the village of Upholland, Lancs. England. This still unspoilt area is a favorite with artists as it is near Skelmersdale the village itself has an ancient history and was home to the ancestors of both Presidents Madison and George W. Bush.
Helen C. Thomae ƒl. 1920-40 is recorded as living in Watford, Herts. in 1929 and London 1938 where
she exhibited at the Royal Institute and Society of Woman Artists.
