Since 1763 the name 'Russborough' has been synonymous with collecting and dealing in fine art. In the closing decades of the last century the historic town of Port Hope has become home to Lord Russborough's Annex, which specialises in an individual mix of antique maps, paintings and prints.

While Lord Russborough's Annex features a great many works of museum calibre, we also offer a wonderful selection of prints priced at under $100.

Highly decorative American Frohse anatomical wall chart edited by Max Brodel, being the teaching chart from the original Port Hope, Ontario, Hospital. Published by AJ. Nystrom & Co. Chicago 1918-1922

These certainly make a dramatic statement in any den or office. When published their richness of chromolithographic tone, led many to consider them to be the finest such charts in the world, far surpassing today’s rather flatter images. The image size is 66 x 41 1/2 ”, mounted on original linen 79 x 41 1/2”. Given the fact that it is approx. 90 years old and was used in the hospital, it is still in remarkably good condition with minimal surface loss and staining, the original roller and dark roll guard is still intact and attached.
